Anyone ever do one of these to a CRT?

Seems like the set has this jungle IC which will be where the RGB lines
for the OSD are needed for the mod:

Am not sure what the line would be that tells the chip to turn the OSD on. Apparently there
is a line if its 1 volt or more, it activates the OSD, if zero its normal video.

Also I think there must be a sync line tapped into which is bought out to the rear of the set,
with the (3) RGB lines / jacks but not sure where that would be tapped into?

I am gonna use BNC jacks, not the scart connector.
There are some youtube videos about RGB modding and lots of topics on the shumps
forums but so far it seems no one has tried this with Panasonic.

 

Hi

I have a Panasonic TH-48LFE8E display in at the moment.

The standby (red) LED does not come on when the power is connected and the unit is not responsive to the remote control.
However when the power button is pressed on the set the green power on LED lights, but there is no backlight or other signs of activity on the LCD.
I have tried to obtain a service manual but apparently they are no longer available?
I have not repaired many Panasonic units and if any one can help it would be appreciated

Üdv minden Szakinak! Panasonic TX-29PM1P CP-521F/FS sasszival. Bekapcsolás után, szinte azonnal változik, rángatózik a képméret, néha le is kapcsol, majd újra indul. Időnkén normálisan működik. Kondikat elkókat cseréltem mindkét oldalon, bár jónak mértem őket. A félvezetőket jónak ítélem, a feszültségeket rendben találom. Visszaolvastam Füles Mester e témában írt válaszait, de sajnos nem segített, mer az általa írt pozíció számok teljesen mások a sasszin. Bármilyen ötletet szívesen veszek. Köszönettel: Myckie A sortrafó volt a bűnös. Néha áthúzott. Cserélve, működik. Mindenkinek kösz a segítséget.

Szevasztok! Tegnap átugrottam egy ismerősömhöz, (műszer, szerszám nem volt nállam)ahol a következőt tapasztaltam a fent említett gépen: Változtatja a fényerejét, mint mikor a G2-őt tekergetjük, kicsit túl is lőtte a képet, de visszafutási csíkok nem látszottak. Néha visszaáll normál állapotába. Nem ismerem a gépet, de azt olvastam, hogy a VDP3112B szokott elhalálozni benne. Jó helyen keresgélek, vagy merőben máshol (sorkimenő, videovégfok) keresgessek? Segítségeteket előre is köszönöm! Üdv!
