I have a Yamaha CDX-590 CD player and it skips on some CDs - original CDs, these CDs play without problems on my other CD players. I have changed the laser unit (KSS-210A) but this didn't solve the problem. When I turn the player upside down, it plays the problematic CDs without a problem. That's why I think the laser needs adjustment. I have only a service manual for the CDX-493/593 but they should be very similar to the CDX-590. It seems that the adjustments are done via "test mode" of the CDX-590, unfortunately there is not much information, how to exactly, in the service manual. So I activated mode 1, waited a while, activated mode 2, waited a while, activated mode 3, then exited test mode. It didn't help. Mode 1 - only a short blink of two horizontal dashes on the display and thats it Mode 2 - started "play" without sound from a strange time 99:00 (the test CD is not so long), after a while it skips to another time, "plays" a while, then skips back and "plays" and so on, I left it about an hour and it was still going on Mode 3 - seems to be very short as mode 1 I think I'm missing something ... Maybe someone did this or even serviced Yamahas in an official service and can provide information how to adjust the laser? Or maybe the problem is not the laser?

Szervusztok! Van ez a fentnevezett (yamaha ysp 900)készülék és nem csinál semmit. Nincs stbyt se.A tápot néztem,a 3,3V és az 5V meg van a 12V-helyett csak 10.7V-ot mérek. Van egy microprocessor (M30626Fjpfp)amiről kapna jelet a relé de nem kap. Ha valaki már javított ilyet és tudna segíteni azt meg köszönném. Üdv mindenkinek!

Semmi nem jelzi hogy stby -ban van, nem tudom, hogy kell e, hogy jelezze valami egyáltalán. Indítom, a táp relé kattan a főtrafo felé kapcsolja a 230V majd leold a relé. A kijelző egy pillanatra se éled. Valami durva dolog lehet benne, mert minimum egy kijelző éledés, egy protect felirat kéne...Vagy nem?? Érdemes tovább mélyedni, mert semmihez nem lehet hozzáférni, annyira be van építve... ?? Kösz

Sziasztok! Protect modban van mert a kimeneten van DC feszültség, mindkét oldalon megjelenik a + táp (+48V), ha a Left oldalon kiveszem a PNP,NPN végtranzisztor bázis ellenállásait(4R7/0.25W) és csipeszekkel az RCA bemenet GND-jét összekötöm a GND-vel(házzal) akkor a Right oldal 0V, majd a jobb oldal harmadszori bekapcsolas után szintén 0V-ra lecsökken, és a protect mód megszünik. Ha visszarakom a Left bázis ellenállásait (de a csipeszelés marad) akkor mindkét oldalon -48V jelenik meg, de van néha hogy +48V ra állnak be. Mérve minden alkatrész jó.Feszültségek a végfokban sehol se jók. Mindenhol +48V vagy -48V van. Eredetileg az elôerôsítô tápja (+15.8V)-ot elôállító Q133=2SK30 (TO-92) szét volt pukkanva meg a melette levô D109=ZPD16-os tulfeszültség védô zárlatos volt. Ha kiveszem a Left oldal végtranzisztorait akkor is van a kimeneten +DC feszültség de csak +4V.Na itt megállt a tudomány..
